"Voyage of the Dawn Treader" Ready to Set Sail

According to Narniafans.com, production is set to begin on the third Narnia film this month.  IMDb tells us that Michael Apted is at the helm and a December 2010 arrival is scheduled.  During this outing, as most you probably know, we lose some familiar faces - only Lucy and Edmund make this trek.  Filming begins at Cleveland Point, on the Golden Coast of Australia.

it occurs to me, that unlike some of the other series fantasy that has been put to film in recent years (decades?) the Narnia series has the virtue of not involving a single cast through all the books, which makes it easier for casting as young actors tend to grow up faster than production schedules. Although if I were the brains behind this series, I would go ahead and shoot The Last Battle before I had completed everything else in the series, as Lucy, Edmond and Peter although older, are still students in it.
